Rachel Cabal
Director of Evangelism

Rachel Knobles Cabal is the Director of Evangelism at First United Methodist Church of Dallas. Rachel grew up in Pasadena, Texas and attended Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas and Augsburg College in Minneapolis studying Theology and Geriatric Psychology.

Before joining the First Church staff in November of 2001, she was on the Admissions/Marketing team at Presbyterian Village North Retirement Community for four years and then assisted the president of a Hispanic Advertising Agency in the West End near downtown Dallas. When first arriving on the First Church staff, she assisted our senior minister before moving into the Director of Evangelism position.

Rachel and her husband Alvaro have been members of FUMC since June of 2004 and have quickly learned how important it is to be a part of such a caring congregation…she finds it very easy to encourage others to become a part of this church family.
