Dana
Effler
Director of Music and Arts
Dana Effler has been the Director of Music and Arts Ministries at
First United Methodist Church since 1994. She holds a Bachelors Degree
in Music Education from Furman University, a Masters Degree in Choral
Conducting and a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from Southern
Methodist University. Other professional pursuits include her work
as a singer, guest conductor, workshop clinician and teacher for
such organizations as the American Choral Directors Association,
Texas Choral Directors Association and Choristers Guild, and The
Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts.
