Sunday, March 25
Palm Sunday – 8:45 & 11 a.m.
Parade of palms at 11 a.m. commemorating Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Rev. Ann Willet delivers the message. Annual picnic and egg hunt at Shivers Park follows this service.

Mozart Requiem – 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary
The Chancel Choir and orchestra will present Mozart’s Requiem conducted by Dana Effler. Mozart’s final masterpiece features a setting of the Requiem text that highlights the genius composer’s musical brilliance. Our performance is offered with humble praise and thanksgiving for Jesus’ sacrifice for us as we begin this Holy Week of remembrance.

Thursday, March 29
Maundy Thursday Service – 7:30 p.m.
During this service, Holy Communion will be observed as we remember the Last Supper and Christ’s deep love for us with music from Taizé. Rev. Evan Jones delivers the message.

Friday, March 30
Good Friday – Tenebrae Service – 7:30 p.m.
The service of Tenebrae, or “Darkness,” depicts Christ’s suffering and death by the reading of scripture with music by Strings, Chancel Choir and Variations.

Sunday, April 1
Easter Sunrise Service – 7 a.m.
The junior and senior high students of FirstChurch will lead a service filled with song, reflective prayer, and a message. Atrium Courtyard.

Traditional Easter Services – 9 & 11 a.m.
Dr. Stoker delivers the message “Saved by Letting Go” at this service with a Traditional Easter Banner Procession and music provided by the Chancel Choir, brass, timpani and organ. Broadcast live on www.firstchurchdallas.org.

Free valet parking at the church and garage parking are available in Bryan Tower at the corner of San Jacinto and Harwood, diagonally across from the church for all Holy Week services. Handicapped parking is available at the church.

Childcare will be provided for all Holy Week services except Easter Sunrise.
