A hilarious British romp – Agatha Christie meets
Monty Python, meets Abbott & Costello! Throw in a little “Pink Panther”, “Clue”, and “Scooby Doo” and you have a gem of a crime thriller spoof. Edgar Hollister is wed to gold digger Mavis, who has plans for his demise. She seems to have succeeded quite quickly and all too easily. The arrival of Edgar’s dotty daughter and her doting American fiancé complicates matters as they try to solve Edgar’s disappearance. The interfering housekeeper fails to help, as do the two bumbling members of the Harrogate Police. Never a dull moment, “The Murder Room” will keep you laughing - and guessing - all the way through.
