Welcome to FirstChurch

At First United Methodist Church, we’re anchored by history and tradition, yet we move fearlessly toward the future – toward our own spiritual development and that of others, of a thriving and inclusive Dallas, and of a world free from poverty and hate. We believe our greatest call is not just to believe in God, but to serve as living examples of God’s presence and grace in the world.

We exist to
grow disciples,
connect communities,
and serve the world.

We’re working to unite you with God and others, so you can fully live the life Christ has for you. Bring your questions, your fears, and your doubts – we welcome and receive you as you are.

At FirstChurch, there’s a seat at the table for you.

This Sunday

Sunday, August 8

A beautiful traditional worship experience with powerful music –  come connect with God
and your fellow neighbor here at FirstChurch.

In the past year, our lives have been significantly changed by the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). As COVID rates continue to decline, we will continue to have in-person ministry at 25 percent capacity. When Dallas County risk levels are adjusted, we will expand capacity.

From May 30 – Sept. 5, we will offer in-person worship and learning opportunities on Sunday mornings – no registration required. In addition, we will continue to offer an online worship service option listed below. To keep an environment that is safe for all, we do still require everyone age 6 and up to wear a mask while on campus. For more information, click here.

A link to view the online service will be posted here by 5 a.m. Sunday, so you may
watch at a time that works for you,

Join along with other viewers and watch the service streamed here at 11 a.m.
