6:30pm - 8:00pm

Location:
Fiedler Atrium
In a changing multi-cultural and multi-faith landscape, the language of our faith traditions must be strengthened as we reach out in love and hospitality to our neighbors. Imam Omar Suleiman and Dr. Andy Stoker will teach and lead a faithful discussion about Jesus. Islam and Christianity revere Jesus, but in different ways.
As we journey through the Lenten season, let us strengthen our belief in Jesus together. Our FirstChurch Discipleship ministry is honored to host this blessed event with the Valley Ranch Islamic Center. As we work to reconcile ourselves to God’s will and work in the world, let us too reach out to our neighbors to discover the very heart of our God. FirstChurch is a place for bridge-building; join us in building this bridge of faithfulness to God and neighbor together.
Members of FirstChurch and members of Valley Ranch Islamic Center are invited to attend. A Halal meal will be provided beginning at 6 p.m. for $5.
Childcare available with reservation (click here).
