This first Church-Wide study for Fall 2020 allows us to further explore how race impacts our culture, and what that means for us as Christians.
This book serves as a framework for us to understand more about the history, definitions and socialization surrounding race, all while considering the issue through a scriptural and spiritual lens.
Participants are asked to attend the two Zoom meetings on Aug. 10 and 31, and in between meetings, read sections of the book and complete online study related to it.
Already read the book? Sign up to participate and let us know. We want to extend further study opportunities to participants and need assistance from those who have read it.
This study serves as a foundation for the church-wide study in October on anti-racist actions and inner spiritual work.
