Book Study – 1 Corinthians: Searching the Depths of God

Sunday, September 12, 2021

11:00am - 12:00pm

Location:
TBD

Sundays, Sept. 12 – Nov. 21, 2021
from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon

Led by Dr. Andy Stoker

Personal faith in a spiritual community can be both a rewarding and a challenging task. Oh, don’t take it from me; take it from Paul! The apostle Paul was serving a community of “differents” and “difference” in a seaside city named Corinth. Many of the spiritual challenges of the community in Corinth speak directly to our spiritual lives and community today. Our guide for the study will be Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians and Dr. Jamie Clark-Sole’s new book, 1 Corinthians: Searching the Depths of God. Join me for a Minister’s Bible Study during the Learning Hour Sundays starting on September 12. We will have eleven session; come and go or stay the course with us. If you do not have a Sunday School connection, this may be a wonderful introduction to a new group of people on this journey of faith together.

To participate in this study, you will need to purchase the book: 1 Corinthians: Searching the Depths of God, BY Dr. Clark-Soles.  Books can be purchased on line at Deep Vellum: https://bookshop.org/books/first-corinthians-searching-the-depths-of-god/9781501891434
