Executive Director and Museum Curator, Scott Peck, presents an overview of the Museum of Biblical Art and its special relationship with artist Gib Singleton. Mr. Peck will discuss the artist’s legacy as well as the inspiring Via Dolorosa sculpture garden installed at the MBA which showcases his work.
Please join us for this powerful presentation on how life, faith and art blend together. Then, come by the Goodrich Gallery after worship for a reception and see seven of Gib Singleton’s sculptures here on display, on loan from the MBA for the month of March.
Gib Singleton was the foremost Western and Biblical bronze sculptor in the late 20th and early 21st century in America – and, many critics and collectors argue, the
world. His work is represented in major museums from the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas to Yad Vashem in Israel and the Vatican Museum in Rome, as well as in the homes
and offices of luminaries from actors to politicians to spiritual leaders.
