Shining a Light on Alzheimer’s Disease

Thursday, April 29, 2021

10:30am - 11:30am

Online via Zoom

Research has shown that individuals who maintain a spiritual connection as they age have a stronger well-being and greater sense of purpose in life. Religious places and traditions often provide special memories, giving an individual or family member a sense of peace, serenity and joy.

Alzheimer’s disease robs an individual of memories, but does this does not eliminate a person’s ability to have a spiritual relationship. More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, including members of our congregation.
