A Father, a Pastor, a Peacemaker for Racial Healing Is Taking Action
In his Facebook posts, the Rev. Edlen Cowley of Fellowship UMC in Trophy Club gave the poignant views of a father, a pastor and a peacemaker in the aftermath of the downtown Dallas sniper shootings that his son witnessed close up. He is starting the #transformationbegins, a movement to unite Americans of all races and have a broader conversation with North Texas United Methodists about race, police-involved shootings, and unity.
Together with other United Methodist pastors from North Texas, the conversation will be open to clergy and laity alike. If you are not able to attend, we will be live streaming the event (https://www.firstchurchdallas.org/worship/#live). Relationships is the starting point; come discover how our United Methodist family can transform the world, inside-out.
Parking will be available in Bryan Tower. Please have parking ticket verified at the reception desk.
