We believe in providing a safe environment at FirstChurch. FirstProtect is our holistic protection policy for the most precious among us. In addition, our General Safety and Medical Procedures improve member and guest experiences. This policy affirms a gun-free facility.
All clergy, staff, and volunteers who may interact with children and youth receive mandatory MinistrySafe training every two years.
Potential volunteers must pass a criminal background and supply personal references every two years.
A minimum of two adults must be present at all times with children and youth.
Strict criteria for who may serve with children and youth help to ensure we provide an environment of focused, secure disciple-making.
