Young is a non-profit, multi-service retirement community supported by the United Methodist Church. Volunteer opportunities include leading discussion groups, book clubs, parties, technology support, office help, and assisting with arts and crafts or games. Aldersgate Project

The Aldersgate Project, a program originally established by the Aldersgate Class over 25 years ago, supplies ushers from the church for events at SMU’s McFarlin Auditorium. The funds earned are used to support mission projects.  Over the years, this program has generated over $500,000 in funds to support programs that otherwise would not have been supported by the church.  This year we are... read more

Bus Ministry Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to serve our FirstSeniors at C.C Young. Interested drivers: should be between age 25 and 65 need a valid driver’s license with a good driving record (commercial license not required) will typically drive one direction (to/from C.C. Young) one Sunday per month will receive an orientation to bus functioning/features. read more

Wesley-Rankin Community Center

Wesley-Rankin offers a wide variety of programs to support disadvantaged children, youth, adults, and families in West Dallas. Volunteer opportunities include after-school tutoring programs, a Senior Citizen Program, B3X Summer Camp (Math, science and art for 1st-6th graders), and assistance with building maintenance and repair.
