The Aldersgate Project, a program originally established by the Aldersgate Class over 25 years ago, supplies ushers from the church for events at SMU’s McFarlin Auditorium. The funds earned are used to support mission projects. Over the years, this program has generated funds to support programs that otherwise would not have been supported by the church. Each year, the project provides funds to charities such as The Rise Fund, Crossroads Community Services, Justice for Our Neighbors, Kairos Outside the Walls, and many others. A schedule of events is provided to the participants each month and they can choose those that fit their schedule.  It is a great way to serve as well as to meet new friends.
